The VMS will consist of “federated” camera databases so that a single operator station can view-control cameras from another independent system on the same campus or remote campuses as if they were part of the same physical system. Each operator will have a single login to allow each operator to be independent of each other and have separate user rights to view or be excluded from viewing some or all of the cameras on the other system.
